Dr. Schultz on...
- Education/Patient Care
"Excellent teachers at three universities and several hospitals were
the foundation for my medical education. They taught compassion and care delivered
through a disciplined and dedicated mastery of the knowledge and skills necessary
to practice good medicine. Using these skills to help patients is by far the
most rewarding part of dermatology."
- Teaching
"Teaching is just a natural extension of such an academically rigorous
profession as medicine. The mental stimulation from interacting with medical
students, residents, and other attending physicians is irreplaceable."
- Research & Writing
"There is nothing we do in medicine that could not be done better. Looking
for new treatments or diagnostic techniques is not only necessary, but exhilarating."
